Assessing Australia was founded on a simple premise: insurance builders and roofing companies deserve assessments they can actually rely on. Not reports written by someone who has never held a tool or managed a claim — but detailed, accurate assessments from someone who has worked in the industry from the ground up.
Our assessor is a fully licensed builder, holding licences in both Queensland and New South Wales. With a trade background in carpentry and cabinet making, and years spent working as a project manager for insurance builders and as an internal assessor for insurance companies, we understand exactly what your business needs from an assessment report.
That dual perspective — trade professional and insurance insider — means our reports are thorough, defensible, and written with the end use in mind.

Licensed Builder — Queensland
Fully licensed under the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC). Licence No. 15014519.
Licensed Builder — New South Wales
Licenced with NSW Fair Trading, covering all assessment work in northern NSW. Licence No. 387276C.
Trade Background
Qualified carpenter and cabinet maker — hands-on knowledge of building methods, materials, and failure modes.
Insurance Builder Experience
Former project manager for insurance builders, with direct experience managing repair scopes and contractor coordination.
Internal Assessor Experience
Previously worked as an internal assessor for insurance companies — understands what insurers need from a report.
Our Approach
We work for you, not the insurer.
As an independent assessor, we have no allegiance to any insurer or repair network. Our job is to provide an accurate, unbiased assessment of the damage — so you can price the job correctly, manage your scope, and protect your business.
Every report is prepared by our licenced builder personally. We don't outsource, we don't cut corners, and we don't produce cookie-cutter reports. If we're on site, you're getting our full attention and expertise.

We operate across South East Queensland and Northern NSW. For large weather events and catastrophe responses, we're available to travel further afield.
